My entire life has revolved around animals. As a young girl I conducted my own rescue organization of sorts, by bringing home stray animals, feeding, housing and taking care of them. My parents tried to discourage me from doing my rescue but to their demise this didn't happen. Several of the animals I brought home were able to find caring, forever homes.

The first animal related employment I had was as an Animal Control Officer. While in this position I realized the main reason dogs were being taken to shelters was due to lack of training. So I set out to take my first formal training class with one of my rescue dogs. He was an older Alaskan Malamute who had no manners. These classes along with my dog taught me many things but mostly to respect dogs. In taking these classes I wanted to start teaching training classes to help insure that dogs had the opportunity to get the training they deserved and to help keep them out of shelters.

After relocating to Cache Valley I have had the pleasure of being employed by several Veterinary Clinics in the area doing everything from Kennel Help to Veterinary Technician.

I started teaching dog training classes in the 90's. I have a true passion for teaching classes. There is nothing like seeing a family and their dog come together with an understanding of each other and a unique bond forming. I enjoy the peace of mind in knowing a trained dog is much less likely to be placed in a shelter or rescue.

I currently raise, train, show and breed Bullmastiffs and Chinese Shar Pei.

Johonaeei means SUN in Navajo
